Paper Quantum state preparation with optimal T-count David Gosset, Robin Kothari, and Kewen Wu, Quantum 10, 2168 (2026). How many $T$ gates are needed to approximate an arbitrary $n$-qubit quantum state to within error $\varepsilon$? Improving prior work of Low, Kliuchnikov, and Schaeffer, we show that the optimal a…
Paper Optimal schedule of multi-channel quantum Zeno dragging with application to solving the k-SAT problem Yipei Zhang, Alain Sarlette, Philippe Lewalle, Tathagata Karmakar, Thilo Scharnhorst, and K. Birgitta Whaley, Quantum 10, 2167 (2026). Quantum Zeno dragging enables the preparation of common eigenstates of a set of observables by frequent measurement and adiabatic-like modulation of the measurement basis. In this work, we p…
Paper Resource quantification for programming low-depth quantum circuits Entong He and Yuxiang Yang, Quantum 10, 2166 (2026). Noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) devices pave the way for implementing quantum algorithms that offer quantum advantages over their classical counterparts. Due to the intrinsic noise a…
Paper Complexity of graph-state preparation by Clifford circuits Soh Kumabe, Ryuhei Mori, and Yusei Yoshimura, Quantum 10, 2165 (2026). In this work, we study the complexity of graph-state preparation in a general model of quantum algorithms that allows measurements in the computational basis, single-qubit Clifford operation…
Paper Exact Quantum Many-Body Scars in 2D Quantum Gauge Models Yuan Miao, Linhao Li, Hosho Katsura, and Masahito Yamazaki, Quantum 10, 2164 (2026). Quantum many-body scars (QMBS) serve as important examples of ergodicity-breaking phenomena in quantum many-body systems. Despite recent extensive studies, exact QMBS are rare in dimensions…
Paper Shadow Pauli Flow: Characterising Determinism in MBQCs involving Pauli Measurements Mehdi Mhalla, Simon Perdrix, and Luc Sanselme, Quantum 10, 2163 (2026). We introduce a new characterisation of determinism in Measurement-Based Quantum Computing (MBQC). The one-way model consists in performing local measurements over a large entangled state rep…
Paper Fast quantum measurement tomography with optimal error bounds Leonardo Zambrano, Sergi Ramos-Calderer, and Richard Kueng, Quantum 10, 2162 (2026). We present a two-step protocol for quantum measurement tomography that is light on classical co-processing cost and still achieves optimal sample complexity. Given measurement data from a kn…
Paper MPC in the Quantum Head (or: Superposition-Secure (Quantum) Zero-Knowledge) Andrea Coladangelo, Ruta Jawale, Dakshita Khurana, Giulio Malavolta, and Hendrik Waldner, Quantum 10, 2161 (2026). The MPC-in-the-head technique (Ishai et al., STOC 2007) is a celebrated method to build zero-knowledge protocols with desirable theoretical properties and high practical efficiency. This tec…
Paper Geometric speed limit of state preparation and curved control spaces Maximilian Goll and Robert H. Jonsson, Quantum 10, 2160 (2026). The preparation of quantum many-body systems faces the difficulty that in a realistic scenario only few control parameters of the system may be accessible. In this context, an interesting co…
Paper From Superradiance to Superabsorption: An Exact Treatment of Non-Markovian Cooperative Radiation Ignacio González and Ángel Rivas, Quantum 10, 2159 (2026). We investigate the emergence of cooperative radiation phenomena in ensembles of two-level atoms coupled to a lossy resonant cavity beyond the Markovian and mean-field approximations. By deri…
Paper Near-Optimal Parameter Tuning of Level-1 QAOA for Ising Models V Vijendran, Dax Enshan Koh, Eunok Bae, Hyukjoon Kwon, Ping Koy Lam, and Syed M Assad, Quantum 10, 2158 (2026). The Quantum Approximate Optimisation Algorithm (QAOA) tackles combinatorial optimisation problems by encoding their solutions into the ground state of an Ising Hamiltonian prepared by a $p$-le…
Paper Towards Unconditional Uncloneable Encryption Pierre Botteron, Anne Broadbent, Eric Culf, Ion Nechita, Clément Pellegrini, and Denis Rochette, Quantum 10, 2157 (2026). Uncloneable encryption is a cryptographic primitive which encrypts a classical message into a quantum ciphertext, such that two quantum adversaries are limited in their capacity of being abl…
Paper Enlarging the GKP stabilizer group for enhanced noise protection Jonathan Pelletier and Baptiste Royer, Quantum 10, 2156 (2026). Encoding a qubit in a larger Hilbert space of an oscillator is an efficient way to protect its quantum information against decoherence. Promising examples of such bosonic encodings are the G…
Paper Resourcefulness of non-classical continuous-variable quantum gates Massimo Frigerio, Antoine Debray, Nicolas Treps, and Mattia Walschaers, Quantum 10, 2155 (2026). In continuous-variable quantum computation, identifying key elements that enable a quantum computational advantage is a long-standing issue. Starting from the standard results on the necessi…
