Quantum receives donation from Xanadu

Xanadu becomes the first quantum computing startup to support fair open-access publishing in quantum science by supporting Quantum with a small yearly donation that will contribute to cover the operating costs of the journal.

Xanadu is thereby joining IQOQI Vienna, CQT Singapore, and the Stanhill Foundation, who are also helping to ensure that Quantum can keep offering an unconditional waiver of the standard 200€ article processing charge, to make publishing in Quantum affordable for everyone. We strongly believe that there should never be financial barriers to publishing great scientific results and would like to wholeheartedly thank Xanadu for their commitment!

Xanadu is a quantum technologies company powered by light. Xanadu designs and integrates quantum silicon photonic chips into existing hardware to create truly full-stack quantum computing.
