Do you think that news articles on quantum science are vague or misleading? Can you do better? We have a challenge: explain your research to teenagers and undergo their scrutiny.
Quantum is launching a pilot outreach project, Quantum Leaps, where scientists write a rigorous and accessible popular science version of a research paper, which are then reviewed by school students, under the supervision of a researcher.
The pilot project will take place in Sydney this Spring, with groups of 13-year old students supervised by Chris Ferrie.
